Why We Review Every Upload: Trust and Safety at Qyrony
Every product on Qyrony passes a three-layer review before it goes live. Here's what that process checks and why it protects both creators and buyers.
A marketplace is only as trustworthy as the files people download from it. One malicious upload can damage confidence in an entire platform. That is why every product on Qyrony passes through a three-layer review before it ever reaches a buyer — and why we think that review is a feature worth talking about openly.
The three layers
Every upload runs the same gauntlet, no exceptions.
1. Integrity checks. We verify the file’s type and generate a SHA-256 checksum for every upload. This confirms the file is what it claims to be and has not been tampered with in transit.
2. Threat screening. Uploads are scanned for the things that have no place in a legitimate digital product: embedded scripts, leaked keys and credentials, and executables masquerading as assets. Anything that trips this screen is rejected outright.
3. AI trust-and-safety review. An automated review assesses the upload against our safety policies. Clear, compliant products publish quickly. Anything uncertain is routed to human moderation instead of being auto-published — because the safe default is a person taking a closer look, not a machine waving something through.
Why this protects buyers
Buyers on Qyrony can download with confidence because nothing reaches them unchecked. The review means the file is intact, free of the obvious threats, and has cleared a safety policy. That baseline trust is what lets buyers purchase from creators they are discovering for the first time — which, in turn, means more buyers for every seller.
Why this protects creators
Review is not a hurdle for honest creators — it is what makes their storefront credible. When every product on the platform has passed the same checks, your listing benefits from the trust of the whole marketplace. You are not fighting to prove you are legitimate against a backdrop of spam and scams; the platform has already cleared the field.
Fast for the honest, strict for the rest
The goal is a review that is invisible when it should be and firm when it needs to be. Legitimate products move through quickly. The friction is reserved for the uploads that genuinely warrant a second look. That balance keeps the marketplace both open to creators and safe for buyers.
Trust as a shared standard
Plenty of platforms treat safety as something each user has to fend for themselves. We take the opposite view: trust should be the baseline everyone inherits, not a burden each person carries alone. Reviewing every upload is how we hold that standard — quietly, consistently, on every single product that goes live.
